Adams Land & Cattle Employees Donate Beef and over 280 Gifts to local families

Adams Land and Cattle (ALCC) recently sponsored its 14th annual Giving Tree Program, where employees fulfill holiday wish lists by donating Christmas gifts to children and families enrolled in the local Sixpence program. Their efforts resulted in 280 gifts for 35 local families in need, including 86 children. ALCC also gave beef roast bundles to all 35 families.

The backpack program is a great asset to many students who may not know when their next meal will be.

Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2022 Transparency Coverage

In November of 2020 the Transparency in Coverage Final Rule was released by the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), the Department of Labor and the Department of the Treasury (The Departments) with the goal of improving price and quality transparency within healthcare. The Final Rule went into effect January 1, 2022, with enforcement delayed by the Departments until July 1, 2022 for the In-Network and Out-of-Network Allowed Amounts files.

Angenette  Adams-Denesia, co-founder of ALCC, passed away on April 11, 2020 at the age of 95, at Brookestone View in Broken Bow, NE.

Over 120 4-H and FFA youth in Custer County participated in Animal Quality Assurance Youth Training on Wednesday, May 29 in Broken Bow. The event was put on by Adams Land and Cattle and the Nebraska Extension in Custer County. Additional event sponsors were Merck Animal Health and Boehringer Ingelheim.
