Creating a High Quality, Safe and Sustainable Product for Consumers
Here at Adams, we’re consumers, just like you. It’s why we do what we do, every day. We’re proud to be part of an industry that’s committed to producing high quality, safe food for families around the world.
Over the years we have participated in a number of programs that are built to measure and ensure the safety and sustainability of the beef we produce.
Verification programs
We have participated in verification programs such as the Global Animal Partnership (GAP), Verified Natural Beef (VNB) and Non-Hormone Treated Cattle (NHTC).
Beef Quality Assurance certified training
For more than 10 years, every member of Adams staff has been certified in Beef Quality Assurance training (and that means everyone – from human resources and accounting to livestock marketing to animal husbandry).
Progressive Beef verified cattle
For more than five years we have participated in the Progressive Beef verified cattle quality management system, which provides transparency in how our cattle are raised, focused on the areas of animal welfare, sustainability and food safety.
Beefcare™ sustainability standards
We have participated in BeefCare™, a sustainability standard endorsed by the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef, since its launch in 2020.
Third party auditing
We conduct third party audits by both Progressive Beef and IMI, the organizations who set the standards for quality, sustainability and food safety.
Verifiable, High-Quality Beef
Through our comprehensive individual animal management program and verification process, we can monitor and individually manage each animal regardless of its location to ensure their health and well-being. Prior to our cattle leaving the lot, each animal is electronically verified to ensure that the beef served to your family is safe and nutritious.
It’s one more important way in which we ensure that our customers and consumers receive the very best, most safe, and sustainable product.
